Nathan Ryan
This was part of a shoot I did for Proxart, an online magazine highlighting and exposing arts in the suburbs. Nathan is one of the founders of Proxart. He is a fantastic writer…great drummer…and I am happy to have called him friend for something like 6 years now. Awesome for a guy from a self-declared “awesome-town”. These were taken at Kreative, another one of Nathan’s ventures. Love how these came out. The color on the wall was just brilliant. Please check out his workover at Proxart. It is a brilliant endeavor that is being run by a lot of cool people. Enjoy these photos as well….This is the kind of photography that makes me happy to be a photographer.
Francis Chan & Preston Sprinkle
These two co-authored a book soon to be released called “Erasing Hell”. These are a couple selections from the promo shots I took. I chose these, because they are the cool non-smiley-good vibe ones that the publisher will probably never use. I love hanging out with Francis, and am honored to be one of the only people to photograph him during his writing career. It was a pleasure to meet Preston for the first time. This guy is a gem and a literall genius. He will no doubt be writing more fantastic books in the near future. Francis was shot at his home in San Francisco. Preston was shot in the CloverSites office in Los Angeles — a beautiful and inspiring office space — I am always grateful to know the people at Clover. They win.

Chris may be one of my favorite returning clients. These are from the second documentary I have shot for him. The last one being in 2009 on the Hello Love tour. I was honored to be asked back onto the bus. I cannot express how much I enjoy being with this band and crew. Top notch folks. Enjoy…..
